DFC is delighted to share that the original authors of PAS 9980, including Neal Butterworth of DFC, have written the recent RICS Built Environment Journal: “Why is PAS 9980 being misinterpreted?” article as featured on the RICS’ website on the 10^th October 2023.

The article “Why is PAS 9980 being misinterpreted?” re-states the background and intent of PAS 9980 and provides insight from the authors on the failings found within some of the PAS 9980 assessments that they have had opportunity to review. As such, the article gives some useful ‘watch-its’ for both authors and readers of PAS 9980 assessments.
