Roy Little Appointed as a Trustee of the Institution of Fire Engineers
We are pleased to share that our colleague, Roy Little, has been appointed to the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) Board of Trustees. This notable appointment, which recognises Roy’s extensive experience in fire engineering, highlights the expertise within our team at DFC.
Appointed by the IFE Registrants Group (IFERG), Roy joins the IFE’s Board alongside three other recently appointed members, all of whom represent a high standard of professionalism and commitment to advancing fire safety. Roy brings over 20 years of fire engineering experience, with a strong background in the statutory requirements and functional objectives of fire safety legislation. At DFC, Roy leads our London office and oversees fire engineering projects from inception to handover while also driving strategic initiatives across the company in technical improvements, standardisation, recruitment, and R&D.
In addition to his professional achievements, Roy is an active member of the IFE. He chairs the Facade Special Interest Group (SIG), participates on the technical panel, and volunteers as a Professional Report Reviewer as well as an interviewer for IEng and CEng qualifications.
Roy’s appointment to the IFE Board is not only a prestigious individual recognition; it also reflects the high standards of professionalism and expertise we encourage at DFC. We are proud to support Roy in this new role and are confident that his contributions will further enrich the fire engineering community.
We extend our appreciation to all members of the IFE community for their ongoing commitment to excellence in the fire engineering industry.
