Roy Little
Associate Director
Roy is based in the London office, having joined DFC in 2018. With 18 years’ experience as a fire engineer, Roy has applied his engineering knowledge of fire safety design to a diverse portfolio of projects. He has considerable experience in the development and delivery of fire safety designs, on-site implementation and handover of buildings.
Roy has led negotiations with approving authorities, insurers and other key stakeholders, for a variety of complex buildings, including commercial, residential, mixed-use, assembly and entertainment, and construction works. He is experienced in problem solving and the development of holistic fire strategies, that deliver robust fire safety design solutions to complex buildings, whilst providing value to his clients.
Recent projects include HMRC Unity Square, BASE, Sands Leisure Centre, Science and Industry Museum Special Exhibition Gallery, Whyteleafe House and Transmission House. Roy has an on-going interest in developing fire safety designs that can be seamlessly intertwined with the architectural objectives and undertaking a collaborative approach to his work with other design disciplines.
