Stuart joined Design Fire Consultants (DFC) in October 2020 after 6 years’ experience of working in the industry and expanded the team in our Manchester office. He graduated with a BEng (first class) in Fire Engineering in 2014. He then completed his Masters in Fire Safety Engineering, with distinction, in 2016 while also working full time.

Throughout his career he has been involved with a wide range of building uses, from the simplest dwelling houses through to high-rise towers, indoor arenas and industrial manufacturing facilities.

He is keen to understand more of the industry surrounding the fire engineering discipline, with a conscious effort consider the impact his strategies will have on architectural design, mechanical and electrical systems, buildability and client use; ensuring solutions which satisfy all involved.
