Nabila has recently completed her Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London.

Nabila’s introduction to the field of fire engineering occurred during a careers fair, where she was first introduced to DFC and the broader fire industry. This initial encounter kindled her interest and set her on a path of curiosity about the role of a fire engineer, particularly in how the psychological behaviour of individuals during dangerous situations influences the design of fire safety features.

Throughout her academic journey, Nabila engaged in modules such as heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and advanced safety engineering. These courses helped her develop technical knowledge on how fire spreads and different methods of risk management.
