Kishan Dey
Engineer
Kishan holds a Master of Technology in Thermal Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. He began his career in 2019 as a mechanical engineer in the building services industry before transitioning to fire and life safety engineering. With six years of experience, Kishan specialises in fire strategy development, cause-and-effect matrices, and technical due diligence of fire and life safety systems, working across sectors including data centres, hospitals, multi-occupancy buildings, commercial, and residential projects.
Kishan led fire safety inputs from concept through construction stages on international projects, such as data centres, luxury residential estates, mixed-use developments, fit-out works, healthcare, and large-scale due diligence for over 100 million sq ft of property. His work involved multidisciplinary coordination, fire authority engagements, bespoke solutions for complex environments, and remedial works such as hospital rectifications.
Kishan joined DFC in November 2025 and is excited to contribute to innovative fire engineering projects, delivering robust safety solutions for clients while advancing his expertise in UK regulations..
