Commercial and Contracts Compliance Officer

Kirstie joined DFC in September 2021 to act as our Commercial and Contracts Compliance Officer in response to the company’s significant growth. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) which was attained at the University of Law in Manchester.

Kirstie has over 4 years’ experience of negotiating construction contracts and assisting with commercial opportunities and has previously been a Legal Risk Executive, at another reputable fire engineering consultancy.

Kirstie is responsible for the management and negotiation of contracts. She is keen to work with our clients, to reach an agreement which is favourable to both parties. She has extensive knowledge of the PI market, risk management, English Law and the common law. This enables her to be an outstanding negotiator and to reach decisions which protect our interests, whilst managing our clients’ expectations.

Kirstie is also currently studying a master’s degree (LLM) in construction law and practice, part time at the University of Salford.
