Gareth Ainley

Gareth is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) with a BEng (Hons) in Fire Engineering from the University of Leeds.

Prior to joining DFC, Gareth worked for an international multi-disciplinary engineering company where he spent 19-years in their Leeds and Sheffield offices.

Over those years he has developed a wealth of knowledge having worked on most building types and has significant experience on volumetric modular design, arenas, mixed-use commercial developments and educational buildings as well as energy from waste facilities, converter stations and other industrial building types.
