Eoghan Given

Senior Associate

Eoghan joined DFC in August 2015. He has an Undergraduate Degree in fire science and a Master’s Degree in fire and explosion engineering.

Eoghan has over 19 years’ of fire safety engineering experience and has worked on many landmark projects including the London 2012 Olympic Stadium, Leeds First Direct Arena, and a variety of commercial, residential, industrial and transportation developments.

Whilst design and approvals is the traditional focus of fire engineering – Eoghan specialises in site based delivery of fire safety strategies. He has a strength in solving on site problems for architects and contractors during the build process.

Eoghan believes that physically implementing a fire safety solution is the key to good building design.
