Edwin Ayala

Engineer

Edwin holds an International MSc in Fire Safety Engineering through a joint programme at Ghent University, Lund University and the University of Edinburgh as well as an MSc in Structural Engineering from the National University of Colombia.

He previously worked as a Structural Engineer on a range of building projects, contributing from concept design through to construction. Prior to joining DFC, Edwin gained valuable experience in Structural Fire Engineering where he carried out structural fire assessments and performance-based design analyses for projects across the UK.

Edwin is an Associate Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (AIFireE) and an Interim Registrant for Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Engineering Council.
