Project Description
4 Angel Square is a 200,000 sq ft Grade-A, new-build office building, designed with sustainability in mind. Rated BREEAM Outstanding and EPC A, it features flexible working spaces, a business lounge and a wellness suite. Design Fire Consultants (DFC) were engaged by Bowmer + Kirkland to conduct a Fire Strategy Peer Review and support the fire strategy during construction. Key fire engineering challenges included assessing fire protection measures to ensure structural stability, integrating fire safety systems with advanced building management, selecting fire-safe materials that aligned with aesthetic goals, and rigorously testing smoke control systems for effective emergency management.
