Project Description
Highlight Leisure Centre is a flagship wellbeing hub being delivered as part of Hartlepool’s wider Waterfront regeneration programme. The new facility brings together competition and leisure swimming pools, fitness spaces, a café, NHS consultation suites and family-focused amenities within a single modern destination. DFC provided fire engineering support to help create a safe, inclusive and resilient environment for a wide range of users and activities. The fire strategy was carefully developed to respond to the building’s diverse uses, high visitor numbers and prominent waterfront location, supporting the project’s ambition to deliver a high-quality, community-focused leisure facility for Hartlepool.
