Alex Tripp

Trainee

Alex is a Trainee Fire Engineer based in our Birmingham office. He holds a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering from Loughborough College and joined DFC with around 2.5 years’ industry experience, having started his career at 18 in a fire engineering team at a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy.

Alex has worked across a range of sectors and project stages, with particular experience in the healthcare and infrastructure sectors.

Alongside his role at DFC, Alex is currently studying part‑time towards a BEng (Hons) in Fire Engineering at Birmingham City University. He is at an early stage of his career and continues to develop his technical knowledge and practical experience across fire engineering projects.
