Mohamed Abdalla

Graduate Engineer | Structural Fire Engineering

Mohamed joined DFC’s London team as a Graduate Engineer, having developed a particular interest in structural fire engineering through his studies and previous experience. He holds an MSc in Structural Engineering from Imperial College London, where he specialised in structural fire safety.

Prior to joining DFC, Mohamed gained experience supporting the development of fire strategies across a range of building types, as well as undertaking structural analysis to support performance-based design solutions. Earlier in his career, he worked in bridge inspection and maintenance, gaining experience in structural assessment and developing an understanding of how structures perform and change over time.

Drawing on this background, Mohamed supports project teams in developing practical, performance-based fire engineering strategies, bringing together his interests in structural engineering and fire safety.
